A Disney+ account often covers a whole household — kids’ profiles, a linked payment card, and sometimes a bundle with Hulu and ESPN+. That makes a fresh, private password worth a minute of your time, whether you are tightening security or you shared the login a little too widely. Our GetMyPassword team explains how to change your Disney+ password, reset it when you cannot log in, and keep the account yours.

Change your password from your account
- Sign in at disneyplus.com and open your profile, then Account.
- Select Change Password (or Security).
- Enter your current password, then the new one.
- Save — Disney+ asks whether to log out other devices.
Choosing to log out everywhere is the quickest way to remove anyone you no longer want streaming on your subscription.
Reset it when you are locked out
On the login screen choose Forgot password? and enter your account email. Disney+ emails a secure link or a 6-digit code; follow it to set a new password. If you subscribed through a third party — Apple, Google or your mobile carrier — your login may be managed there, so reset it with that provider instead.
If the account was shared or compromised
Change the password, then use Log out of all devices in Account settings to end every active session at once. Review the email and payment details to make sure nothing was altered, and check that no unfamiliar profiles were added to your household.
Streaming logins are bought and sold in bulk after data breaches. If your Disney+ password is one you use elsewhere, treat it as already exposed and give the account a unique one today.
Lock it down with a unique password
The safest Disney+ password is one you use nowhere else, so a leak from another site cannot unlock your streaming. Create a unique one with our password generator and, if you have enabled it, keep two-step verification on. A unique password plus a login code keeps your household’s account firmly in your hands.
Frequently asked questions
How do I reset my Disney+ password without the email?
Disney+ resets go to your account email, so you need access to it. If you subscribed through Apple, Google or a carrier, reset the password with that provider. Otherwise, contact Disney+ support to verify ownership.
How do I log everyone else out of my Disney+?
In Account settings choose “Log out of all devices.” This ends every active session, so anyone using your login will need the password again — change it first so they cannot get back in.
Why won’t Disney+ accept my new password?
It must meet the minimum length and differ from the old one. Disney+ also rejects very common passwords, so a longer, unique password — ideally generated — will be accepted.
